Q: What kind of feed do Joe's Farm chickens eat?
A: Our hens are feed a Non-GMO feed. Our broilers are feed two different types of feed. Most of our broilers are fed a Non-Feed from a local feed mill and a small amount of our broilers eat a special Corn-Free / Soy-Free feed. Our chickens also eat bugs, insects, and seeds that they forage for in our pastures!
Q: What does it mean that Joe's Farm cattle are 100% grass fed?
A: The cattle on Joe's Farm are never fed grain. We move our cattle daily to fresh grass for them to eat, sometimes multiple moves a day. During the winter months our cattle remain on our pastures and are provided hay to eat while our grass is not growing.
Q: Do the chickens on Joe's Farm receive vaccines?
A: Our chickens never receive vaccines. Since our chickens are moved everyday to fresh pasture they remain healthy and do not require vaccines.
